Patricia Struiksma

Patricia “Pat” Ann Struiksma was born on June 27, 1954, to William and Gertrude Olivier on their family farm near Chandler, MN. She was baptized in and attended Chandler Reformed Church. She received her education from Chandler-Lake Wilson School and graduated in 1973.

After graduation, she worked at Campbell’s Soup in Worthington, MN. In August of 1978 she married Daryl Struiksma; they had three amazing boys, Chad, Clinton and Christopher. In 1988, Pat and the boys moved back to Chandler, MN where she helped on the family farm.

Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She liked spending time with her friends and working at Edgebrook Care Center in Edgerton, MN. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking and crocheting blankets for family.

Patricia, a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, passed away on December 24, 2025.

Patricia is survived by her three sons, Chad Olivier, Clinton (Monica) Struiksma, Christopher (Jenny) Struiksma and grandchildren, Grace, Weston, Brenner, Sophie and Emerson; seven brothers and four sisters.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William and Gertrude Olivier, her Grandparents and an infant sister.

A visitation will be held at the Chandler Reformed Church on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm followed by a funeral service to begin at 1:00pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
